This PagePrivacy PolicyApplies to all the apps we distribute. How each app handles information is set out in the app-specific privacy policies listed under "Scope" below.
This policy applies to all mobile applications we develop and provide (each, the "App"). What each App collects, which features it uses, how long data is kept, and other matters that differ between Apps are set out in each App's own privacy policy. Where this policy and an App's own privacy policy differ, the App's own privacy policy prevails.
For how personal information is handled on our website and across our corporate activities in general, please see our Personal Information Protection Policy. If you move from an App to an external website or service, the handling of information there is governed by that operator's own rules, and this policy does not apply.
03Information we collect
The information an App collects depends on the App. The main types are listed below; what each App actually collects is set out in its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically through third-party services
Advertising identifiers (the Android advertising ID and the iOS IDFA; on iOS only where you have allowed tracking)
Device information (device model, operating system and its version, language setting, region setting, and the like)
IP address and network information (from which an approximate region may be inferred)
App usage (event information such as screen views and the start and end of a game)
App instance ID (an identifier used by the analytics service to identify an installation of the App)
Ad impressions and interactions
Information stored for App features
Game records such as rankings, achievements, and settings are, as a rule, stored on your device. In Apps with features that share records with other users, such as an online ranking, the information those features need (such as a player name and score) is stored in a cloud service only if you use them. What is stored, who can see it, and how long it is kept are set out in each App's own privacy policy.
Information not collected
Unless an App's own privacy policy says otherwise, the Apps do not collect the following information.
Name, address, telephone number, date of birth, or email address
Device location (location permissions)
Contacts, photographs, camera, or microphone data on your device
Payment information such as credit card numbers
If you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message so that we can reply.
04Purposes of use
We use the information we collect for the purposes below.
To provide the Apps and keep them working properly
To provide App features such as rankings
To deliver advertising and measure its effectiveness
To analyze usage data in aggregate so that we can improve the Apps and consider new features
To understand defects and improve quality
To reply to inquiries and contact you when necessary
To detect and prevent improper use
To comply with applicable laws
We do not handle your information beyond the scope of the purposes above without obtaining your prior consent. We do not use the information we collect to identify any specific individual.
05Third-party services
The Apps mainly use the third-party services below. The services each App uses are set out in its own privacy policy. These services handle information in accordance with the privacy policies of their respective providers.
Advertising — Google AdMob
Google AdMob, an advertising service from Google LLC, may automatically collect information, including advertising identifiers, in order to deliver ads and measure their effectiveness.
Google Firebase (analytics, data storage, and authentication)
We may use Google Analytics for Firebase to analyze usage, Cloud Firestore to store data such as online rankings, and Firebase Authentication to manage records, all provided by Google LLC.
The Apps are distributed through Google Play (Google LLC) and the App Store (Apple Inc.). Information relating to app downloads is handled in accordance with the policies of each platform operator.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions where consent is required, the Apps show a consent form using Google's User Messaging Platform. We start serving ads and collecting analytics only after you have responded to the consent form and ad requests have been determined to be permitted. Until you answer, analytics collection stays turned off.
How to bring up and change your consent settings, and how to withdraw consent within an App, are set out in each App's own privacy policy.
Resetting and limiting the advertising identifier
You can reset or limit the use of your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings. Examples are given below; the wording may differ depending on the version of your operating system.
iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, where you can change whether apps are allowed to track you. If tracking is not allowed, the App does not use the IDFA
Android: Settings > Google > Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID
Even if you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will no longer be tailored to your interests.
07Provision to third parties
We do not provide the information we collect to third parties, except in any of the following cases.
If you have given your consent
If it is required under applicable laws
If it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
If it is necessary to cooperate with a national government body, a local authority, or a party entrusted by either of them in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining your consent risks impeding the performance of those duties
If we outsource work to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use
When we outsource work, we exercise the necessary and appropriate supervision over the contractor.
The third-party services described in Section 5 collect information on their own responsibility, and that collection does not necessarily constitute provision of personal data by us.
Player names, scores, and other details you register in an online ranking or similar feature are shown to other users of the App as a result of your own registration.
08Children's privacy
We take the protection of children's privacy seriously. The App is not a service directed exclusively at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Respecting the intent of COPPA (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of the United States) and other relevant laws, we will promptly delete any such information if we learn that information from a child under 13 has been collected.
The content rating of the ads shown in each App and the age rating declared in the app stores are set out in each App's own privacy policy and its store listing.
If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that information about your child has been collected, please contact us at the address in Section 12. We will check the matter and respond promptly.
09Retention and deletion of data
Retention periods are as follows. Each App's retention periods and deletion methods are set out in its own privacy policy.
Information stored on your device (rankings, achievements, settings, and the like): until you uninstall the App
Information stored in cloud services (such as online rankings): the period set in each App's own privacy policy
Information collected by third-party services: the retention period set by each service provider
If you would like data deleted
Records stored in cloud services can be deleted from within the App as described in its own privacy policy
You can erase the data on your device by uninstalling the App or by clearing the App's data from your operating system settings
To delete information held by the advertising and analytics providers, please use the tools each provider offers (such as your Google account settings)
For any other request regarding the handling of data, please contact us by email at the address below

10Security measures
We take the necessary and appropriate measures to keep the information we collect secure and to prevent it from being leaked, lost, or damaged.
We operate no servers of our own, and store in cloud services only what is needed, keeping the data we hold to a minimum
Security rules allow records stored in cloud services to be changed or deleted only from the device that registered them
Communication with third-party services takes place over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
We supervise everyone who handles information for us, including our contractors
We carry out regular checks and reviews of how information is handled
11Changes to this policy
We may change this policy in response to amendments to the law, changes to the features of the App, or changes to the third-party services we use. The revised content takes effect from the time it is posted on this page. If we make a significant change, we will give notice within the App or on our website.
